Christmas day is tomorrow. Today is Christmas Eve. Rei had been out shopping for presents for people he loved and cared about. It made him feel awkward buying gifts because others would wonder when he stopped being an emo pianist into someone with an actual heart. He wasn't emo, but he is a pianist. It would grow quite annoying when people would call him something he's not. Yeah, he barely showed any emotions, never really smiled or laughed, and always wore black, but that didn't mean anything. He was just being himself.
Snow was beginning to fall now. It's a good thing he bundled up by wearing his piano patterned scarf, a cozy black sweater with a bass clef on it, some comfy and warm pants, and eighth note ear muffs. All of his Christmas shopping was done. Now he just had to head home and wrap them up before anyone saw him. Rei had bought a black and blue scarf for Aoi, a samurai figurine for Shoichiro (Which he hoped he liked), some nice hair bows for Rui to put on the back of her head, scythe polish and bagged Christmas cookies for Ren, a large hair ribbon/bow and Christmas chocolates for Haku, and some
organs gloves and a scarf for Lily. Lily was probably the hardest to get a gift. She said his gift for Christmas last year was tacky and ugly, but she still loved it and wore it.
Rei had arrived home, neatly wrapped up each gift, and put them under the Christmas tree. Now he was sitting on a comfy arm chair by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate in hand. He loved sitting by the fireplace during the winter season. It had a nice and calming feeling to it. It was peaceful too. Ah, he can spend the rest of the day here. Maybe even read a book, solve crossword puzzles, or draw fish on a piece of paper. Well, he'll decide later. For now, he'll enoy his hot chocolate.
(( I haven't wrote a journal in a while, so I thought with Christmas being tomorrow, it'll be perfect to write about Rei getting presents for his loved ones. Now, I just hope those he got gifts for like their gifts. xD; ))
